1. We got a little but of snow late last week, and it was lovely. It was enough to coat the ground but not enough to make it dangerous. It was just right. We’re expecting more this week, and it may not be so perfect though. So I was glad to enjoy this small amount while I could, before we get several inches and it really annoys me.

2. It’s birthday week, so we celebrated with turkey and gravy. They little fuzzy guy was very happy and then very sleepy. And then he ran around playing with his ping pong balls and ribbons and mouse toys like he’s still got a little kitten in him. Love that little orange ball of goof!

3. My mother is no longer in the hospital, but she is in skilled nursing for several weeks. The place we chose for her is lovely, and she is well cared for. I am grateful that she’s had the opportunity to be in such a calm, compassionate place. Next week she starts her physical and speech therapy, and I hope that it goes well. But I am very grateful for everyone who has helped her and me through this.
