1. This was a big soccer weekend here in Kansas City. Sporting KC hosted Inter Miami for the first time since the addition of Lionel Messi to the team. The game was moved to Arrowhead, where 72,000+ fans cheered for their favorite team, which is the largest crowd we’ve had for soccer here. But it’s just the beginning, as 2026 will bring some actual World Cup Games here to town. Miami ended up winning 3-2, but we put up a fight, and it was a great game to watch.

2. Good teevee. Last weekend was WrestleMania, so we had to wait to watch the final for the Tournament of Champions a couple of days late. It was great to see the finale, although I still think Antonia was robbed. Now we’re watching 24 in 24: Last Chef Standing, which is deeply weird, but we’ll see how it goes. But we did get caught up on Top Chef this weekend and started watching the latest season of Amazing Race, so I am good.

3. I got to take a couple of days off from work, and they were lovely. But also, not enough. But it felt really good to have some extra me time and to hang out with this adorable house tiger.
