1. AFC champs once again. After a meh season where the receivers couldn’t catch the ball, we made it to the playoffs and through the playoffs. The Chiefs brought back the magic, and now we’re back in the Superbowl!

2. Warmer temperatures, and most of the snow is gone. I loved the snow, but there was a lot, and those arctic temperatures made it stick around and (this is the problem) freeze. If everyone could just stay home, stay off the roads, I’d be fine with it all. But the safety issues override the beauty of the snow for me, at least for weeks like that. Anyway, today was gorgeous and sunny and made everything seem happy and possible again. And this week we’re looking at 40s and 50s. I’m so ready!

3. This weekend was the WWE Royal Rumble. I’m not a fan of all the (I still call them) pay-per-views, but I do enjoy the Rumble. It’s a chance to see lots of wrestlers together, with 30 women competing and later, 30 men. The company will bring out a lot of their most popular wrestlers along with some older favorites, ones coming back from injury, and new recruits (usually from their NXT lineup). And while Becky Lynch didn’t win the women’s Rumble, she does have a new book coming out in a couple of months, and I can’t wait to read it. If you’re a wrestling fan, keep an eye out for it in late March. And if you’re an audio book fan, make note of this one, as she reads it herself. I scored an early copy (thanks, Gallery Books!), but I’ll be picking up that audio book to listen to too, for sure.
