1. Facebook thoughtfully reminded us that it’s been 5 years since we adopted DonDon, and so I got to think about how amazing those years have been. He is a little bossy, a little goofy, and the best cat I have ever known. He is full of love and personality and meows, and he has brought so much light and joy to our life. He is the perfect cat for us at this point in our relationship, with all the challenges we are facing these days, and he is just the best DonDon in the whole world. Love you, goofer!

2. It was a really good soccer weekend, with Dortmund winning Der Klassiker against Bayern Munich, Sporting winning against Toronto, KC Current winning against Angel City, and Liverpool winning and taking the top spot in the Premier League. Ya, I know, I’m a City girl, but I adore Jorgen Klopp, and I would chuffed to see Liverpool take it all this year, as its his last there. But just this year, and then it’s City all the way again! Also, I am a big fan of the word “chuffed,” and I’m glad I thought to work it in here.

3. Today is Easter, so Friday I got my giant box of Easter candy from the best guy in the world and chocolatier Christopher Elbow. There is a mix of eggs and bunnies filled with deliciousness as well as Caramel S’mores Bunnies (the first thing I had to try) and peanut butter cups. Thank you, Brad! You are the love of my life (along with DonDon), and I would say that even without the chocolate!
